Background of .YOGA

NetNames has been given notice that Top Level Domains Ltd plan to open the .Yoga new Top Level Domain registry on the 5th November 2014. The .Yoga gTLD will be supported by Minds + Machines as the back-end provider. The .Yoga TLD will be an open registry and will offer the following registration periods:-

Top Level Domains will be offering Sunrise registrations to all Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH) verified mark holders. Any valid duplicate applications made during the Sunrise period will be resolved by means of an auction after the close of the phase on the 5th January 2015. Sunrise orders can be placed via your NetNames Domain Management Portal or via your Account Manager. Should you still wish to place any trademarks with the TMCH, please contact your Account Manager.

.Yoga Information

Registration Info

  • The .Yoga gTLD will be available to any applicant without restriction
  • Registrations can be for 3 to 63 characters
  • .Yoga will support IDN registrations in German, French and Spanish local script.
  • .Yoga is not eligible for blocking under any Domains Protected Marks List (DPML) at launch although likely to form part of Minds + Machines new Rights Protection Mechanism to be launched in late 2014.
  • Applications made in the Trademark Sunrise phase will incur a one-off Sunrise Access fee which will be billed in the next invoice period and is non-refundable.
