NetNames has been given notice that PointQuebec plan to open the .Quebec new registry on the 2nd September 2014. The .Quebec gTLD will be supported by CORE Registry as the back-end provider. The .Quebec TLD will be an restricted registry and will offer the following registration periods:-

PointQuebec will be offering Sunrise registrations to all Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH) verified mark holders. Any valid duplicate applications made during the Sunrise period will be resolved by means of an auction after the close of the phase on the 4th November 2014. Sunrise orders can be placed via your NetNames Domain Management Portal or via your Account Manager. Should you still wish to place any trademarks with the TMCH, please contact your Account Manager.
PointQuebec will be offering a Landrush application period for non-TMCH registrants, on an end point basis with the priority held by people and businesses who have a valid address in Quebec. At the end of the landrush phase, competing applications will be settled by auction. Contact your Account Manager for more details on how to apply during the Landrush phase.
